The Present Lord and Lady
Tommie Rappe Petersson—a documented descendant of the historic Vachells of Coley—and his wife, Felicia Lewandowska Petersson, hold the Lordship of Coley. They take a stewardship-minded approach: researching, documenting, and sharing Coley's story with accuracy and goodwill, and keeping its dignity aligned with modern, community-facing values. True to Swedish custom since the du reform, they prefer simply "Tommie" and "Felicia."

Tommie is a university teacher, academic, and writer working at the intersection of education, sociology, and social history. He holds an MSc in Education, a BA in Philosophy, and a BA in History; he is a certified teacher for Years 4–9 and Upper Secondary School (Philosophy, History, Religious Studies, and related subjects), and is in the final year of his PhD in Sociology of Education at Uppsala University. His books include Filosofididaktik – Filosofiundervisning i teori och praktik (2nd printing, NA Publishing House, 2021, ISBN: 9789188229649 ) and The Early Anglo-Norman History of Clan Rose of Kilravock (Clan Rose International, 2025, ISBN: 9789199080604). Beyond the archive, Tommie is a 3rd-dan black belt in Kenpo Karate, a 4th-dan black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and head instructor of Sanchin Budokai in Uppsala.
Felicia is the project lead for an ESF-funded initiative in partnership with Uppsala Municipality. She has a BA in Education and a Study Counsellor degree from Stockholm University. In relation to Coley, she is a steady, supportive presence—closely interested in the research and a gentle advocate for inclusion and public service.
Together they are building the Coley Resource. Tommie leads the historical research and documentation. Felicia follows the work closely and lends support as needed. With English roots on her father's side, she values the chance to engage with Coley's story. If you have family papers, photographs or memories to share, please get in touch.
